Highway fuel depot network

Infrastructure

Highway Fuel Depot Network Rollout

A repeatable modular depot design rolled out across multiple highway sites on a single build standard.

Client

National logistics operator

Location

São Paulo, Brazil

Solution

Skids & Piping Systems

Scale

Multi-site

Challenge

The operator needed a consistent depot design that could be rolled out across multiple highway sites without re-engineering each one.

Context

Each site had different footprint constraints, but the client wanted identical operating procedures and spare parts across the network.

Engineering Approach

BTV designed a single modular skid platform sized to fit the smallest site footprint, then repeated it across every location.

Solution

Pre-tested, factory-built skids for unloading, metering, and pressure control, deployed identically across every depot in the network.

Execution

Skids were fabricated in batches and shipped to each site for a plug-and-play install, cutting on-site work to connection and commissioning only.

Modular piping and skid assembly

Results that held up

  • 01

Consistent operating procedures and spare parts across every depot

  • 02

On-site install time cut versus a bespoke design at each location

  • 03

Network fully commissioned ahead of the operator's rollout deadline
