Cryogenic Gas Distribution Hub
A cryogenic hub built to cut boil-off loss and stabilise purity for a regional gas supplier.
Client
Industrial gas supplier
Location
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Solution
Cryogenic Systems
Scale
Mid scale
Challenge
The supplier's existing setup suffered high boil-off loss and inconsistent purity across its LOX, LIN, and LAR product lines.
Context
Serving medical, food-grade, and industrial customers meant purity tolerances varied by product line, adding complexity to a single shared site.
Engineering Approach
BTV separated product lines into dedicated vacuum-insulated storage with independent vaporizer trains, rather than a single shared system.
Solution
Vacuum-insulated cryogenic tanks for LOX, LIN, and LAR, each with dedicated piping, vaporizers, and purity-preserving transfer systems.
Execution
Tanks and skids were fabricated and pressure-tested off-site, then installed and commissioned product line by product line to keep the facility operating throughout.

Results that held up
- 01
Boil-off loss reduced across all three product lines
- 02
Purity tolerances held consistently for medical and food-grade customers
- 03
Facility remained operational throughout the changeover
